Ronnie and Andy Warhol in Ronnie’s Brentmor Park living room, 1975
In 1975, The Greenberg Gallery exhibited a selection of paintings from Andy Warhol’s Portrait series. For this exhibition, Warhol sent rolls of his purple Chairman Mao wallpaper to hang the paintings (including some from his Famous Jews series) on top of. This would later become the first among many Warhol exhibitions held by The Greenberg Gallery.
